Bruichladdich Distillery

Did you know that Bruichladdich uses no computers in the distilling process? Well, now you do! When the Islay distillery was founded in 1881, it was a state-of-the-art building, much different from the other distilleries on the island that were all located in old farm buildings. However, Bruichladdich escaped the wide-spread modernization after the Second World War, and to this day the distillery uses most of its original machinery.
