Edradour Distillery

The Edradour distillery was founded in 1825 as a traditional farm distillery. It was originally named Glenforres; in 1837 the name Edradour (meaning ‘the land between two rivers’) was first mentioned. Edradour was acquired by Pernod Ricard in 1982, and in 1986 the distillery released its first single malt. In 2002, Signatory Vintage bought the distillery and expanded the core range. A second distillery, nicknamed Edradour #2, has recently been built next to the existing one and started production in 2018. Edradour produces just 12 barrels per week, making it the smallest distillery in Scotland!
