Fuji Gotemba Distillery

The Fuji Gotemba distillery was founded in 1972 by the Kirin Brewery, in collaboration with Seagram, Chivas Brothers and Four Roses. It is located at the foot of Mount Fuji and produces both single malt and grain whiskies. Kirin took sole ownership of the company in 2002. Producing 12 million litres a year, Fuji Gotemba is one of the largest distilleries in the world.
