Ladyburn Distillery

The Ladyburn distillery was founded in 1966 by William Grant & Sons, located on the site of their large grain distillery in Girvan, Ayrshire. Ladyburn was not so much its own separate distillery as a pair of stills within the Grant complex, meaning that when it was shut down only 9 years later it didn’t leave many traces except for a few barrels of whisky. Most of the production was used in the Grant’s blends, but a handful of single malt bottlings exist.
