Mars Shinshu Distillery

The Mars Shinshu Distillery was established in 1985, mothballed in 1992 and resumed production again in 2011. It recently underwent a large renovation project, which was finished in September 2020. Fun fact: Mars Shinshu is located about 800 meters above sea level, making it the highest whisky distillery in Japan!
