Aberfeldy 18 Years Old Sangiovese Red Wine Finish is a limited-edition Highland single malt from Aberfeldy. It was bottled for the Wine Cask series, which explores the Malt Master’s art of finishing and the possibilities of flavour, using the finest oak barrels from the world’s most revered vineyard. The single malt matured for 18 years in a combination of bourbon, refill and rechar casks. It was then finished in first-fill Sangiovese red wine casks from Valdarno di Sopra, bringing intense complexity and rich, fruity notes such as red plums, candied orange peel and honeyed figs. Aberfeldy 18 Years Old Sangiovese Red Wine Finish displays an exquisite depth, bursting with vibrancy and signature notes of cherry, orange peel, vanilla and clove.
