Aberlour 25 Years Old 1964 is a rare vintage bottling with a sherried character and an exceptional maturity. The single malt was distilled in 1964 and matured for 25 years. It was bottled in 1989 as a limited release. Aberlour was founded in 1879 by James Fleming, who previously worked at the Dailuaine distillery. He chose the convenient location where the Lour stream flows into the River Spey. Since ancient times, this area has been steeped in legend. The Lour’s water, which Aberlour uses during the distillation process, is said to have healing powers. Please note that the box shows some damage
