Alberta Springs Canadian Rye Whisky 1975 is a vintage Canadian sipping whisky, produced in the 1970s by Alberta Distillers. It’s the ancestor of the World Whisky of the Year 2020: Alberta Premium Cask Strength! The bottle comes in an elegant wooden presentation box. Alberta Distillers was founded in 1946 by oil magnate Frank McMahon and rancher Max Bell. Because they didn’t know much about distilling whisky, they started to work together with the successful distiller George Reifel, who helped them grow the company. Located on the outskirts of Calgary, Alberta Distillers is the largest producer of rye whisky in the world. The distillery is currently owned by Beam Suntory.
