The Appleton Estate in Jamaica has been producing rum for over 270 years. The company was established in 1749 and makes what is, according to many, some of the best rum on the planet. The Hearts Collection, consisting of three vintage rums from the Appleton Estate, is a collaboration between Appleton’s Master Blender Joy Spence and Velier CEO Luca Gargano. Appleton Estate Hearts Collection 1999 Jamaica Rum (21 Years Old) is a 100% pot still rum. It was distilled in 1999 and bottled at 63% after aging for 21 years. Casks No. 407819 through No. 407830 were used for this rum. 3000 bottles were released in November 2020.
