Arbikie Highland Rye 2020 is the third edition of Arbikie’s celebrated Highland rye whisky, introduced in 2018. The whisky matured for 5 years in virgin American oak casks and was bottled in December 2020 at 48% ABV. The newly-established single estate distillery Arbikie revived the tradition of rye whisky in Scotland, which went out of fashion about a century ago. Made from grain grown on the Arbikie Estate, this whisky pays homage to the farm’s history of field-to-bottle distillation that started in 1794.
