Please note: the box of this release is not in pristine condition. Ardbeg Airigh Nam Beist is a single malt from the Ardbeg distillery on Islay. It is part of the annual Limited 1990 Release range, featuring rare vintage whiskies distilled in 1990 (the range has since been discontinued due to exhausted stocks). Airigh Nam Beist is Gaelic for ‘pasture of the animals’ and is also the name of a small hill loch near the Ardbeg distillery. This Ardbeg Airigh Nam Beist was bottled in 2007 at 46%. Vintage Ardbeg bottlings are becoming increasingly rare, and the Airgh Nam Beist was one of the last official vintage releases. A powerful peaty whisky with a delicious hint of honey.
