Ardbeg Smoketrails Côte Rotie Edition is a traveller’s exclusive release of Ardbeg’s popular Smoketrails single malt. For this expression, Ardbeg has married their classic single malt aged in ex-bourbon casks with Ardbeg matured in sought-after Côte Rôtie wine casks from the Rhône region in southern France. The result is a full-bodied, punchy spirit with hints of grilled artichoke and peppers. Warm notes of camphor fade into cooling menthol. Subtle smoked cranberry and tar are followed by rich dark chocolate, melting into soft fondant. Ardbeg Smoketrails Côte Rotie Edition was bottled in 2023 at 46%, and comes in a large 1L bottle so there’s more peaty deliciousness for you to enjoy!
