Ardbeg An Oa is a newer addition to Ardbeg’s core range. This innovative single malt is inspired by the Mull of Oa, the cliffs which protect the distillery from the rough Atlantic Ocean. The whisky first matured in a combination of Pedro Ximénez, virgin charred oak and ex-bourbon casks. It was then married together in Ardbeg’s unique Gathering Vat. This giant French oak marrying tun was specially created by Dr. Bill Lumsden to allow whiskies from several casks to become a rounded whole. The result is a complex single malt that is smooth without losing its smoky character.
Ardbeg 5 Years Old Wee Beastie

Wee Beastie is the newest expression in Ardbeg’s Ultimate Range, and the youngest Ardbeg whisky ever made. It matured for 5 years in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry casks, and is bottled at 47.4% ABV. Described as a ‘monster of a dram’, Ardbeg 5 Years Old Wee Beastie is a powerful smoky single malt.
