The Ardbeg 19 Years Old Traigh Bhan Batch 2 is here! As a follow up of the limited Traigh Bhan from 2019, we expect that this one will be sold out quickly. The batch number on the label gives away the date of when this Islay Single Malt was distilled: February 18 2000. If this release was bottled after that date in 2020, it could actually be 20 years old, instead of the 19 years that are advertised on the label. The name of the whisky is inspired by the Traigh Bhan Beach on Islay, which is famous for it’s palm trees and white sands. Lol. We funny. The beach is cold, rocky and wind swept: exactly the characteristics we expect from a great Islay whisky from Ardbeg. Ardbeg 19 Years Old Traigh Bhan Batch 2 matured on Oloroso Sherry Casks and American Oak Casks.
