In 2011, indie bottler Adelphi ventured further into the world of whisky and submitted plans for their own distillery in the Western Highlands. Ardnamurchan started production in 2014, and the first single malt was released in 2017. Ardnamurchan Single Cask #440 Exclusive for FC-Whisky Denmark is a single cask whisky from this exciting new distillery. The unpeated single malt was distilled in 2014 and aged in Spanish oak sherry butt #440. In 2021, it was bottled at 59.1% exclusively for FC-Whisky Denmark. Only 693 bottles were released.
