Arran 23 Years Old Premium Cask 1997 is a stunning single cask whisky from the Arran Distillery on the Scottish Isle of Arran. One of the oldest Arran ever bottled! It was distilled in June 1997 and matured in Sherry Hogshead #907 for 23 years, before being bottled in September 2020 at 48.5%. The Isle of Arran was once home to over fifty illicit whisky distilleries. When the only legal distillery closed in 1837, the island remained whiskyless for more than 150 years. In 1994 the Arran Distillery was established, finally bringing whisky back to the island. Arran 23 Years Old Premium Cask 1997 was bottled exclusively for the German company Kammer Kirsch. Only 205 bottles have been released.
