Arran Harmony Edition Volume Three 1995-2020 is a limited-edition Arran single malt released in 2020 for the Arran Malt & Music Festival, celebrating the Arran distillery’s 25th anniversary. The whisky is a blend of different casks, married together by the distillery’s Master Blender James MacTaggart. The whisky matured in sherry hogsheads, French puncheons and bourbon barrels. It was bottled in 2020 at a cask strength of 55.6%. The Isle of Arran was once home to over fifty illicit whisky distilleries. When the only legal distillery closed in 1837, the island remained whiskyless for more than 150 years. In 1995 the Arran Distillery was established, finally bringing whisky back to the island. Only 1000 bottles of Arran Harmony Edition Volume Three 1995-2020 have been released.
