Aultmore 37 Years Old Hunter Laing Old & Rare 1982 is an exceptional limited-edition single malt from Aultmore, released by independent bottler Hunter Laing as part of the ultra-premium Old & Rare range. Aultmore is a relatively unknown Speyside distillery. For years, Aultmore’s whisky was solely used in blends. It only recently started being released as a single malt, earning it the nickname ‘the rarest of Speyside’. The single malt was distilled in 1982, and matured for 37 years in a single cask. It was bottled in 2019 at a natural cask strength of 54.3%. Aultmore 37 Years Old Hunter Laing Old & Rare 1982 has a distinctive nose of golden syrup cake, camphor and candied orange. The palate is replete with notes of marmalade, ginger and a touch of marzipan. The finish is long and satisfying, with ripe fruit and herbal notes. Only 174 bottles have been released.
