Ballechin is a heavily peated whisky from the Edradour distillery. The original Ballechin brand was in production between 1810 and 1927. It was reintroduced by Andrew Symington after Signatory Vintage took over the distillery in 2002. Ballechin 14 Years Old 2008-2022 Cask #226 is a single cask release, selected by Andrew Symington. The single malt was distilled on 10 September 2008 and matured for 14 years in a cask that previously held grand arôme rum, a heavy style with rich, intense flavours. It was bottled on 28 October 2022 at a cask strength of 61%. One of 480 bottles.
