Ballechin 20 Years Old Port Pipe 2004 Cask #347 is a rare single cask bottling of Ballechin, Edradour’s heavily peated single malt. This special spirit was carefully selected by Andrew Symington for his son. The whisky was distilled on 25 July 2004, the day Andrew Jr was born, and fully matured in a first-fill port pipe. It was bottled on his 20th birthday at a cask strength of 54.7%. Ballechin 20 Years Old Port Pipe 2004 Cask #347 offers notes of rich black cherries, ripe figs, dried dates and complex spices, beautifully and subtly integrated with the characteristic mature smoke and peat. Hints of uncut cigars, dark chocolate and antique wood linger on the finish. One of 691 bottles.
