Stewart’s experiment with French Pineau casks, but they initially didn’t meet his exacting standards. Yet, their journey continued. They were left to mature for an additional eight years under the watchful eye of Malt Master Kelsey McKechnie, revealing a remarkable transformation. The result is an intriguing whisky that showcases the enduring influence of time and David’s pioneering spirit, with layers of delicate spice, rich sweetness, creamy vanilla and gentle oaky tannins.
