Barrell Craft Spirits is an independent bottler and blender based in the heart of Bourbon Country in Louisville, Kentucky. Driven by an innovative spirit, they select and blend spirits that explore different distillation methods, barrels and aging environments, and bottle these up at cask strength. Barrell Seagrass Rye evokes the spirit of the sea. It is a blend of American and Canadian rye whiskies, with each finished separately in Martinique Rhum, Madeira and apricot brandy barrels. Clearly this is a match made in heaven because Barrell Seagrass Rye has won Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2021, a Platinum Medal at the 2021 L.A. Spirits Awards and a whole whisky barrel full of other awards. The nose has a bright, fruity perfume of honeydew melon, plum and apricot along with a sea-side saltiness. The palate has flavors of pear, lychee ripe grapefruit along with typical rye flavors of cinnamon, rosemary and fennel seed. The finish is fresh with a little camphor, chalk dust and earth.

Safe packing
