Lidl is not the first place you’d think of to pick up a 47 year old Speyside Single Malt but you better believe they’ve gone and put this on their shelves and at a crazy good price too! Ben Bracken 1973 47 Years Old Limited Edition is a single malt from an undisclosed distillery, bottled by The Scottish Independent Distillers. Only 480 bottles were filled and if the previous releases are anything to go by then this will fly out the door. The nose has aromas of butterscotch, oak, violet and candied lemon peel. The palate has a layer of oak, soft spices and nuts with peaches and vanilla. The finish is long with a tropical floral character.
