La Maison du Whisky is at is again! For this year’s collection of limited edition Blanton’s, four versions were selected. Two of which bottled at cask strength, the other two bottled at 100 proof. All four are selected exclusively for the French market. These are a tribute to Buffalo Trace’s Warehouse H, that famous building that holds Blanton’s and nothing but Blanton’s. This warehouse is near and dear for many reasons, one being that it was built by Colonel Blanton at the end of prohibition to store the very first single barrels that were hand selected in 1984. From that point forward American whiskey would never remain the same. Depicted on the labels is Warehouse H. This warehouse is near and dear for many reasons, one being that the entire warehouse is enclosed in metal. The metal conducts heat much quicker than the traditional brick commonly used, leading to a flavor profile so many have come to adore. Blanton’s LMDW 2022 Single Barrel #76 is proofed at 63.05%, with a limited release of 204 bottles.
