Bomberger pays tribute to the Bomberger’s Distillery of the 1800s. This distillery would later become known as the Michter’s Distillery. A small batch product, the 2018 release of Bomberger’s Kentucky Straight Bourbon has a rich, sweet, fruity, and bold flavor profile due to the fact that a small portion of the whiskey spent time in Chinquapin oak, a species of oak that imparts strong character. Bomberger’s Declaration is part of the Michter’s Legacy Series, together with Shenk’s Homestead Whiskey.
