Batch C90-E-14 of Jim Beam’s iconic small batch bourbon was distilled on 14 May 1990 and aged for 7 years and 9 months. It was bottled in February 1998 at 126.7 proof. The late Jim Beam master distiller Booker Noe first started bottling his namesake bourbon as a holiday gift for friends and relatives. A couple of years later, in 1988, he introduced the uncut, straight-from-the-barrel expression to the general public. Booker’s son and grandson, Fred and Freddie Noe, are currently at the helm of Jim Beam and carry on the tradition of Booker’s Small Batch Bourbon. Please note: the bottle has a cracked wax seal.
