Bowmore’s Vintner’s Trilogy is a wine-inspired series, exploring the influence of ex-wine, port and sherry casks on Bowmore’s trademark style. The second release in the trilogy, Bowmore 26 Years Old Vintner’s Trilogy French Oak Barrique, first matured for 13 years in ex-bourbon barrels. It spent the other half of its maturation in French oak wine barriques, developing rich and balanced notes of tropical fruits, oak spiced smoke, dark chocolate, cherry pie and sweet honey, and a long-lasting finish with a hint of salt.
