Look! The first annual 30 Years Old Bowmore release! In 20202, the year the bespoke Islay distillery celebrates its 240th birthday, they decided release a 30-year-old whisky every year. There must have been a large number of old casks waiting in a dark corner, because since 2000 there have been gaps of 3 to 5 years in which the good people at Bowmore didn’t release a 30-year-old. This one was bottled at 45.3% ABV and is limited to 2,580 bottles. It comes in a beautiful wooden box with a refined polish of sea glass, reflecting its connection to Islay. Please note: due the size of this bottle, it takes up 6 spaces in a parcel.
