A single cask Bruichladdich malt, specially bottled by The Whiskyfind for Jazz Bar Rondo’s 60th Anniversary. The whisky was distilled in 2003 and matured in sherry hogshead #250 for 16 years. It was bottled in 2019 at 61.6% ABV. Did you know that Bruichladdich uses no computers in the distilling process? When the Islay distillery was founded in 1881, it was a state-of-the-art building, much different from the other distilleries on the island that were all located in old farm buildings. However, Bruichladdich escaped the wide-spread modernization after the Second World War, and to this day the distillery uses most of its original machinery. Only 260 bottles of Bruichladdich 16 Years Old Jazz Bar Rondo 60th Anniversary have been released.
