Get your hands on this limited-edition Buffalo Trace Single Barrel Select French Exclusive! The bourbon was drawn from a single barrel selected by Fine Spirits, and is bottled at 80 proof. Buffalo Trace is the oldest continuously operating distillery in the United States. Records of distilling on the banks of the Kentucky River go all the way back to 1775, and in 1812 a distillery was constructed on the site. The distillery even remained operational during Prohibition, to make whiskey for medicinal purposes (wink, wink). The current owner is Sazerac, who took over in 1992 and gave the distillery the name Buffalo Trace a couple of years later.
