The Bunnahabhain 2002 Feis Ile 2020 Madeira Cask Finish was aged in bourbon barrels for fourteen years, after which they were transferred into a ex-Madeira Hogshead for the last four years of maturation. It takes some planning ahead to create the perfect Feis Ile release. It’s a spicey single malt whisky, with tones of figs, cinnamon and apricots. Due to the pandemic, this whisky was released online. It was planned to be released on Islay, during the yearly festival.
