This vintage 1989 Bunnahabhain was bottled under Ian Macleod’s Dun Bheagan label in 2017, making it 27 years old. It matured in a regular hogshead that produced a pretty solid number: 427 bottles in total. Islay based distillery Bunnahabhain is known for producing non peated, well balanced single malt whisky. This vintage 1989 release is fruity, sweet and slightly peated. Ian Macleod is a distilling company and private bottler. With their Dun Bheagan range, they bottle straight from the cask. All the malts in the Dun Bheagan Collection are unchillfiltered and natural in colour. Their Royal Blue gift packaging creates added value and greater shelf presence.
