This 5-year-old vintage 2014 single malt comes from Islay based distillery Bunnahabhain. The ‘Staoisha’ in the name refers to a lake near Bunnahabhain, one of the distillery’s water sources. This bottle was bottled in May 2020 by Dutch independent bottler Van Wees, for their internationally acclaimed ‘The Ultimate’ series. The Ultimate Series is – of course – recognizable by the iconic Pagoda Chimneys on the bottle label.
