Bunnahabhain Staoisha 5 Years Old The Single Cask 2013 Cask 940 is a beautiful smoky drop of peated whisky from Bunnahabhain. The nose is all about smoked fruits with charred pineapple and banana. These fruits change to stewed orchard fruits with a healthy dose of cinnamon and pepper spice. Bunnahabhain’s coastal location lends the whisky a burst of sea spray as well. The finish has fruits emerging through a curtain of coastal smokiness. As is often the case with these single bottlings, there aren’t too many to go around. Only 258 to be exact, so this is a very rare gem.
