Following the immense success of the inaugural Causeway Collection in 2020, Bushmills has released a new series of these extremely rare and unique Irish single malts. Bushmills 32 Years Old The Causeway Collection is one of the oldest expressions ever released by the distillery. The triple distilled single malt, selected by La Maison du Whisky, was distilled on 19 April 1989 and matured in Port cask #6096 for 32 years. It was bottled in 2021 at a cask strength of 50.1%. An exceptional Bushmills, this whiskey has a complex nose with aromas of tropical fruits, beeswax, aromatic plants, red fruits and subtle spices. The palate is lively with an abundance of fruits including mango, lemon, passion fruit, orange, peach and pear, as well as notes of orange blossom, heather honey, cinnamon and a hint of tobacco. The finish is long and elegant with hints of chocolate, vanilla and verbena. All in all, a luxurious, fruity, wonderfully floral and subtly spicy whiskey. Only 228 bottles of Bushmills 32 Years Old The Causeway Collection have been released.
