About the Canadian Club Chronicles (41 Years Old)
Canadian Club Chronicles (41 Years Old) is the oldest bottling produced by this Canadian distillery. Limited to 7000 bottles. When it was produced in 1971, it was also blended with small additions of cognac, rye and sherry. Huh, what? This is possible under Canada’s 9.09 rule, a rule that allows Canadian whisky producers to add up to 9.09% of wine, sherry, cognac, and/or any whisky spirit that’s been matured for at least two years. Think of this what you want, but in the end it makes a darn good experiment, we say. And what about a 41 year old whisky for this price?
