Ian Macleod’s Dun Bheagan range features impressive single cask whiskies from all over Scotland. It is named after the village of Dunvegan (‘Dùn Bheagain’ in Gaelic) on the Isle of Skye, where the seat of the chief of Clan MacLeod is located. Caol Ila 25 Years Old Dun Bheagan 1989 has aromas of vanilla, autumn flowers, orange, citrus and peat on the nose. The palate is smooth with rich and complex notes of sweet barley, Demerara sugar, pepper, seaweed and salt.
