Chartreuse V.E.P. Yellow is a special release of the famous French herbal liqueur, made by Carthusian monks since the 18th century. V.E.P. stands for ‘Vieillissement Exceptionnellement Prolongé’ (Exceptionally Prolonged Aging) and was first produced in 1963. This rare and exceptional liqueur matured for a minimum of 8 years in oak vats and is produced in limited quantities each year. At 42% ABV, Chartreuse V.E.P. Yellow is a milder and sweeter expression compared to the classic Green Chartreuse.
