For La Maison du Whisky’s 2022 Collection Antipodes, four unique single casks of Chichibu whisky have been selected to explore the many sides of the distillery’s spirit. These different facets are reflected in the labels, which feature colourful abstract self-portraits by the prolific Japanese artist Aki Kuroda. Chichibu 8 Years Old LMDW Antipodes 2013 Cask #9664 aged in a barrel that previously contained a local Koshu wine. The single malt is original and daring, with an invigorating herbal freshness and deep fruity, floral and spicy layers. One of 263 bottles.
