Clynelish 34 Years Old M&H Cask Selection 1971 is an early vintage from the Clynelish distillery, which was founded in 1967, near the coastal village of Brora. The whisky was distilled in June 1971, and matured for 34 years in a single refill hogshead. It was bottled in August 2005 at a cask strength of 45.7%. 228 bottles were produced by independent bottler Taste Still for the M&H Cask Selection. Clynelish was built during the whisky boom of the 1960s in order to increase production, and operated in tandem with its sister distillery (the original Clynelish distillery, now known as Brora) for several years.
