In 2006, Compass Box first released their Flaming Heart blended malt. It proved to be so popular, that we’re now already at the seventh edition of this unique synergy of heavy peat and toasted French oak! For the 2022 edition, Compass Box has added a layer of deep fruitiness to the blend. Malts from the Laphroaig, Caol Ila and Talisker distilleries bring the smoky dimension, while the Highland Malt Blend aged in richly toasted virgin French oak casks, delivers a spicy richness. The final malt components add softer notes of orchard fruits, buttercream, pineapple, honey and vanilla. Only 9606 bottles of Compass Box Flaming Heart 2022 Edition have been released.
