Back in 2000, Hedonism was the first-ever blend released by Compass Box. The demand for high-quality grain whisky has greatly increased since then, and starting from 2024, Hedonism will appear in limited quantities once a year—each an interpretation of the classic Hedonism style. Inspired by the original label illustration for Hedonism, each annual release will feature an artwork by a different female artist. This inaugural release features a piece by Edinburgh-based artist Stephanie Rew, who combines traditional Early Renaissance gilding techniques with a contemporary painterly style. Compass Box Hedonism 2024 Edition is made up of 100% Scotch grain whiskies aged in first-fill bourbon barrels. The whisky has a soft texture on the palate, delivering flavours that dance between sweet notes of vanilla, toffee and pastry cream. One of 7746 bottles.
