Scotland is home to many different species of whisky, from the complex and meaty spirit made at Mortlach to the fruitiness Glen Elgin brings. Compass Box has brought all these specimens together to create Menagerie: a harmonious blended malt that consists of a diverse range of Scotch whiskies. The whisky’s main component (42.6%) is a Mortlach single malt that matured in a recharred barrel. The rest are single malts from Deanston (17.1%), Glen Elgin (18.1%) and Laphroig (5.4%), as well as Compass Box’s Highland Malt Blend (16.8%). Compass Box Menagerie was bottled in January 2021 at 46% ABV. Only 7741 bottles have been released.

Safe packing
