It was introduced in 1996, and has a peat level of 13 to 14 ppm for a subtle smoky character with a smooth and sweet taste. Connemara 16 Years Old Single Cask For The Nectar 1991 is a single cask edition of Connemara, bottled specially for Belgian importer The Nectar. This bottling contains some of the first Connemara whiskey ever produced. The single malt was distilled on 19 September 1991, and bottled exactly 16 years later on 19 September 2007 at 50.2%.
