The Cragganmore 30 Years Old 1989 Old & Rare Hunter Laing from the Speyside distillery Cragganmore was distilled in 1989 and matured in a sherry butt for 30 years. It was bottled in 2019 at a cask strength of 51.4% ABV by the independent bottler Hunter Laing for their Old & Rare Platinum Selection series. Old & Rare is an exclusive range consisting of limited-edition single cask whiskies that have been matured for several decades. Cragganmore was founded in 1869 by experienced distiller John Smith, who previously managed Macallan, Glenlivet and Wishaw. It was the first Speyside distillery that used the Strathspey railway system for transport. They even had their own siding! Only 328 bottles of Cragganmore 30 Years Old were released.
