Craigellachie: an old fashioned whisky brand since 1891. Or so they claim at the distillery at least, with a sense of pride. And why shouldn’t they be proud: if your brand has been around for that long, with a single malt whisky that is loved by all, one should be proud. This vintage 1995 single cask whisky from the Craigellachie Exceptional Cask Series was bottled at 57.5% ABV in 2019. It matured in First Fill Oloroso Sherry Casks for 23 long years. Malt Master Stephanie Macleod personally picks all Exceptional Casks. This Cask #4575 is a prime example of Craigellachie whisky making. On the palate you can discover notes of pinapple, cloves and cinnamon. And barbecue!
