Cream of Kentucky 11.5 Years Old, released in January 2019, is the first release from the J.W. Rutledge Distillery. The whiskey is a blend of 60 barrels that matured for 11.5 years (very specific) before being bottled at 102 proof (51% ABV). The J.W. Rutledge Distillery was founded by Jim Rutledge, who retired as Four Roses master distiller in 2015. While the distillery is being built, J.W. Rutledge sources its whiskey from other Kentucky distilleries. Cream of Kentucky is a historic bourbon brand. It was first introduced in 1888, and has previously been distilled by James E. Pepper and the George T. Stagg distillery.
