Crown Royal 1966 is a vintage blended Canadian whisky, produced by Seagram at their distillery in Waterloo, Ontario. The tax strip indicates the youngest whisky in this bottle was distilled in 1966. The bottle comes in a purple pouch, the color of the British Royal Family. Crown Royal was created by Seagram in 1939 when King George VI and Queen Elizabeth visited Canada. The whisky was initially sold exclusively in Canada, but was introduced to the international markets in the 1960s.
