About the Crown Royal 1969
If you came looking for rare and old whisky from the 1960s, you came to the right place! When King George VI and Queen Elizabeth visited Canada during the Royal Tour of 1939, they were presented with ten cases of Canadian whisky to enjoy on their journey. Seagram specially created a premium blended whisky for this occasion. Crown Royal subsequently became one of Seagram’s most popular whiskies, and it became a world favorite after it was introduced to the international market in the 1960s. This bottle of Crown Royal Blended Canadian Whisky was distilled in 1969 and bottled at 80 proof. It was originally exported to Japan.
