Dalmore 18 Years Old Cadenhead’s Sherry Cask 2001 is a limited-edition sherried single malt from Dalmore, bottled as part of the Sherry Cask range from renowned independent bottler Cadenhead. The whisky was distilled in 2001, and aged for a total of 18 years, including a maturation in a sherry hogshead since August 2017. It was bottled in summer 2019 at a cask strength of 51.7%. On the nose Dalmore 18 Years Old Cadenhead’s Sherry Cask 2001, has aromas of rich chocolate orange, wood spice, stewed fruits, pecan pie and butterscotch. The palate reveals notes of smoked almonds, orange liqueur, bramble jam, profiteroles and oloroso with a hint of dark rum. The finish is big and chewy with orange peel, cream sponge, blackcurrants and pistachio nuts. Only 246 bottles have been released.
